Coordinated a six-month-long display of select trashion garments from previous runway shows.
"Single Use Disposables: Convenience or Conundrum?"
Art direction and messaging for three-month-long installation in vacant retail window space in downtown Portland, OR. Supporting elements included a project website featuring infographics, artist Pinterest inspiration boards, and video. Garments were created out of the three most thrown-away packaging products in the world; plastic bags, paper coffee cups, and plastic beverage bottles.
Sponsors: Portland Development Commission, City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, Oregon Association of Recyclers, Boothster and funded in part by the Regional Arts and Culture Council.

Art direction and messaging for living installation at Portland Fashion Week's opening night. Installation featured curated trashion garments created out of waste textile materials.
"A Celebration of Portland's Ban on Plastic Bags"
Art direction and messaging for installation in vacant retail window display in downtown Portland, OR. Trashion garments were created out of plastic bags, celebrating Portland’s 2011 decision to ban plastic shopping bags at major grocers and certain big-box stores.
Display included artist demonstrations of their creative process of making the garments during exhibit installation.
